Krušedol Monastery – one of the most important monasteries of Fruška Gora, situated in the Fruška Gora, surrounded by the monastery quarters – was founded by despot Djordje Branković. The significance of Krusedol is great, as evidenced by the size of the person buried there –  the whole family of despot Brankovic, King Milan Obrenovic, Princess Ljubica, the patriarch of Arsenija III. In the church of monastery are the most interesting frescoes from the 16th century, and together they are the most important example of Baroque painting in Serbia.

A small place nowadays, Sremski Karlovci is a town of significant importance for both Serbian history and the history of other countries. It has therefore a status of a unique Serbian municipality. This is the place where the Treaty of Karlowitz was signed, conveniently located not far from Brankovo Strazilovo and numerous family wineries where you can taste some of the best wines from Fruska gora.
